The CKUW Awards were announced on Thursday April 30 and At the Monarch’s Convenience was the recipient of two, count em two awards!
Our first award was for Community Engagement. This juried prize was won despite the tough competition of our co-nominees, Inner City Voices and Black Mask being just two examples.
Michael Welch won the award for Rookie of the Year!
