This week is CKUW 95.9 Fm Campus and Community radio’s annual fundrive event and the cast of At the Monarch’s Convenience will be on air today between 5:30 and 6:00 collecting pledges for the station.

At the Monarch’s Convenience is a community based, collectively created half hour weekly radio play.  It is written and performed by members of Winnipeg’s West End community and has aired more then 30 episodes to date.  If you support community radio, community theatre, radio drama or any combination of the three we are asking that you call in and pledge your support, 774-6877 during the time that we are on the air.

If you have wanted to be a part of At the Monarch’s Convenience but haven’t been able to come to one of our story or production meetings this is a chance to contribute in another way.  In exchange you can get some pretty great CKUW swag.

After a string of bad luck Bogus tells Rick the truth about the paternity test. Cassia’s dad makes Jakob propose and the woman of Aaron’s dreams walks into Shale’s Diner.

Back from the holidays Bogus has a run of bad luck, could it be a result of lying to Rick?  Robert continues his seduction of Ms. Prescott from the publishing house and Cassia stands-up Jakob leaving him to attend lamaze class on his own.

Aaron Shale hosts a community Christmas Party, William sees the opportunity antagonize Rick.  Bogus gives Rick the best gift ever and Jakob and Cassia tell their folks the good news.
